Logan County History Center includes:

     Logan County Museum,

          Logan County Transportation Museum,

              & the Orr Mansion

Welcome to the Logan County History Center, which includes the Logan County Museum, Logan County Transportation Museum, and the Orr Mansion, at 521 E. Columbus Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. This location became the new home of the Logan County Historical Society in 1989. The Society dates from the 1930 era and was reorganized in 1945 following World War II.
Over the years hundreds of volunteers have donated thousands of hours of time to help preserve a look at the past. Historical artifacts, documents, genealogy information, and rooms full of historical furniture and artifacts make this an exciting visit for the entire family.

We continue adding and changing exhibits and reviving our historical presence using modern techniques, multi-media presentations, and many volunteers who bring history to life. Special programs are offered to children, school groups, clubs and organizations and we invite everyone to become a member of the Historical Society.
Bring your family and your friends and join us as we explore the history of our community and this very special region of Ohio which boasts the highest point in Ohio and a swampy marsh that turned into a "Million Dollar Playground."
Whether you are a member of the Logan County community or a visitor, you will enjoy stepping into the past through the doors of this magnificent old mansion.
