PLEASE NOTE: The Logan County Historical Society owns and operates the Logan County History Center. Therefore, please contact the Historical Society for any inquiries about the History Center, including
the Orr Mansion, Logan County Museum, the Logan County Transportation Museum, and our meeting rooms.

In Logan County, the Historical Society and the Genealogical Society are separate entities within the same building with separate files, phones, hours, volunteers, etc.
Generally:
The Historical Society focuses on "places & things" including city, village, township, and county history in general,
plus the history of businesses, buildings, "famous" Logan Countians, etc. We also have some family files.
The Genealogical Society focuses on "people" including family genealogy files, births, deaths, marriages, cemeteries,
and court records.
