Logan County History Center Protocols
The History Center is open its regular museum hours Wednesday-Sunday 1:00-4:00 with the following protocols and restrictions

There will be a maximum of 12 visitors touring the History Center at one time (does not include staff, docents, Archives or Genealogy patrons).

Visitors, staff or volunteers who are experiencing any COVID related symptoms should not enter the History Center. (Symptoms: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing or any two of the following symptoms: fever, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat or new loss of sense of smell or taste or have had contact with a person with COVID).

Visitors must wear masks while in the History Center. Volunteers and staff must wear masks while interacting with visitors and one another and practice social distancing.

Visitors encouraged to use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available in the lobby and prior to entering the Orr Mansion.

Visitors must stay within their group and practice social distancing (6’ or more distance from other visitors not in their group as well as LCHC staff and volunteers). We also ask visitors to refrain from touching surfaces in the History Center unnecessarily.

All tours will be Self-Guided unless special arrangements have been made (please call 937-593-7557 or email historycenter@loganhistory.org).

No large group tours (maximum number of visitors still 12).

High traffic areas in the History Center will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis during open hours, along with a more thorough cleaning daily.

Drinking fountains have been turned off.

Visitors are to use the restrooms located in the Logan County Museum. The Transportation Museum restrooms are currently closed.

The Logan County Archives will be limited 2 researchers at one time. It is recommended that researchers call 937-593-7557 or email historycenter@loganhistory.org to make appointment with the Archives.

The History Center is not currently renting its meeting rooms to outside groups due to COVID-19 restrictions and precautions.
