In Logan County, the Historical Society and the Genealogical Society are separate entities within the same building
with separate files, phones, hours, volunteers, etc.
The Historical Society focuses on "places & things" including city, village, township, and county history in general, plus the history of businesses, buildings, "famous" Logan Countians, etc. We also have some family files.
The Genealogical Society focuses on "people" including family genealogy files, births, deaths, marriages, cemeteries, and court records.
